Contract 2: Highway 3 Widening From Essex to Leamington
Contract 1
Contract 1 of the Highway 3 improvements includes the following:

Installation of temporary signals at Highway 3 and Maidstone Avenue (County Road 8)

Construction of the second Highway 3 eastbound left turn lane at Maidstone Avenue (County Road 8)

Widening of Maidstone Avenue (County Road 8) and reconstruction of Highway 3/Maidstone Avenue E-N ramp

Relocation of sanitary and watermain crossings of Highway 3

Installation of Barn Swallow Kiosks and exclusionary fencing requirements for project limits

Construction of temporary Highway 3 roadside ditch west of Victoria Avenue

Installation of permanent Highway 3 property line fencing

JANUARY 28, 2021:
The Notice of Completion and Design and Construction Report (DCR) for Contract 1 are now available. The 30-day public review period for the DCR begins January 28, 2021, and ends March 1, 2021.
